Don't be silly!, why would the renegotiate their contracts if they were leaving?

That's what Maggie Grace did before she was killed off, and I believe a few of the others that have been killed off did the same. That being said, I don't think they'd kill off either of the two, period. Unless of course it's the end of the series and they want to do it for shock value, but that would be next season, not this season.

don't feed the troll man.

Evi is not going to get fired because her agent is asking for a raise.

the actors contracts expire this year, just like the writers last year. so she is not the only want asking for more money. and beside there's some other actors from others shows who get more money than the Lost leads.

Tell me about it Charlie Sheen gets paid $825,000 an episode (about $20 million a year) for 2 and a half men...(dude i forgot that show was still on TV) yet people are bitching over the fact that Foxy and Evi's agents are asking for measly figure slightly above £150,000. It really makes no sense. Notice that i didnt say Foxy and Evi were asking for the payrise because i bet it wasn't even them asking for it in the first place.

I think that the media and the Foxy and Evi hater's have got their pants in a twist over this because if they bothered to open their eye's they would see in the orginal article it states that the rest of the cast are also renegotiating thier contracts. So its not just Evi and Foxy getting a pay hike, ALL the Lost cast are.

Actually, the original article says that ABC was trying to have secret renegotiations with Evi and Matthew's agents... then the other actors agents found out about it and started asking for a raise for their actors. The original reporter on this actually pointed out how trying to make the talks secret backfired and now they'll have to pay up for everyone, not just Matthew and Evi.

Even with the 'leak' the other cast member's are also going to get a payrise, its not like ABC just ignored them and carried on with Foxy and Evi agents.

They are not going to get fired. They will either get a raise or they won't.

Adam, for God's sake man, for the 32043952050 time she's NOT going anywhere.
she'll be on Lost till the very end meaning May of 2010.
so relax she's the leading lady :)
she'll either get a raise or she won't.

Glad she has been getting at least $150,000, but she should be getting more since that is what other A List TV actors are getting.

They are not going to write Matthew Fox and Evangeline Lilly. They are two of the most popular and two of the most central characters in the show. It would be suicide for the show, especially because they are in the flash-forwards, and if they let them go, they would never be able to finish the whole flash forward story appropriately. What people have to take into consideration, is that Evangeline was completely unknown when Lost started so she was one of, if not, the lowest paid actors on the show. Considering how important Kate is to the show, she should get a raise, just to put her where everybody else is!

After the first season everyone got a raise. Since then Evi and Matthew have been the highest paid actors. The articles clearly state that Terry is making somewhere around 80 to 90 thousand an episode, where as Evi gets 150 thousand and episode. She's getting a raise to about 200 thousand an episode and she will continue to be tied with Matthew as the highest paid cast member. So it's not like she was making less than everyone, in fact she's making more than everyone and the same as Matthew... and has been for the past few seasons. So lets not make this out to be that she was being under paid for the past few years, because she's not.

Honestly, Terry won an Emmy, his character has been a central one from the start... He should be getting paid AT LEAST as much as Evi and Matthew. Michael Emerson will probably win the Emmy this year, and that should mean a big increase for him. Hopefully they both get it, along with everyone else on the show. But the problem of everyone getting a raise on a show that's already one of the most expensive to make on television, means that ABC may say to Damon and Carlton "we need to cut expenses a little bit." Which usually means some actors getting the axe or at least getting knocked down to guest starring roles so they don't get paid as much. So I'm all for everyone getting paid good money, but only if it doesn't lead to people losing their jobs to cut expenses.

Its been confirmed that Foxy has got his raise Evi has probably got the same but it doesn't say anything about her in the article -

Matthew Fox Gets New Contract and Raise!!

So earlier this week we reported that LOST stars Matthew Fox and Evangeline Lilly were in the process of renegotiating their contracts with ABC. When the news was leaked the agents of the other cast members also contacted ABC for raises as well.

Well today comes word that Fox has actually inked a new deal getting a nice raise to $225K/episode matching the amount of the stars of Desperate Housewives. The other LOST cast members are still renegotiating their contracts as well.

Here is the full report:

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - "Lost" star Matthew Fox has quietly signed a new deal to continue on the hit ABC drama with a salary raise.

Under the pact, reached earlier this summer, Fox is expected to be earning about $225,000 (121,000 pounds) per episode, up from the roughly $150,000 he most recently made.

The raise puts Fox on par with the stars of "Desperate Housewives," the other ABC/ABC Studios breakout hit of fall 2005. The leading ladies of Wisteria Lane also are said to be making $225,000 an episode.

The rest of "Lost's" core cast are in the process of renegotiating their deals.

Despite the ensemble nature of "Lost," which starts production on its fifth season Monday, Fox has been considered the lead on the Emmy-winning series.

When the cast received their first significant raises in January 2006, all actors were brought up to about $80,000 an episode, with Fox getting a bonus of at least $250,000.

Representatives for ABC Studios and Fox's agency and management reps declined comment.

^ Just chill!, Evi and Foxy were in contract talks together so its more than likely Evi did get a raise, it just hasn't been leaked like Foxy...yet.
