'Lost' stars in renegotiation talks
Matthew Fox, Evangeline Lilly may get beefier paychecks

Call it Operation Oceanic Two.

ABC Studios, which produces the ABC drama "Lost," has quietly started renegotiations with stars Matthew Fox and Evangeline Lilly to beef up their paychecks, currently at about $150,000 per episode.

However, word of the talks leaked out by Friday, prompting reps for some of the other regulars to call the studio to open their own renegotiations. The majority of the "Lost" supporting players are in the $80,000-90,000 per episode range.

Thats awesome, the casts of DH and Greys have been getting over £200,000 per episode for a number of years now so i guess its only fair that the Lost cast get an increase too.

all deserve the same money, don't get me wrong, i love Evi and she deserved but there's also another cast members who deserved too.

They can't all be paid the same money. The cast is too big for that to happen. It makes sense to me for the leads to be higher paid, but the rest of the cast should see a raise of some sort as well. It's a little unfair to ignore them. They bust their asses at work every day too.

We all know how the press loves to blow things out of proportion.

I bet gossip columnists will create pointless drama that doesn't exist and make Matt and Evie look like the villians/drama queens.

The producers of Lost are reportedly in talks with series stars Matthew Fox and Evangeline Lilly's reps to up their paychecks, currently at about $150,000 per episode.

Reps for some of the other regulars have asked for talks with the producers as well.

The majority of the Lost supporting players are getting about $80,000-90,000 per episode.

Are Fox and Lilly really worth that much more than the other ensemble players????

all of this is getting kinda stupid to be honest. this turned into a ship war.

all the cast deserve a raise, doesn't really matter if it's the same as the leads.

This is really getting out of hand, going far beyond just a regular ship war. I've seen some really harsh comments on LJ and IMDB directed towards Foxy and Evi but the harshest comments of all a reserved for Evi which i really don't understand . She is doing nothing out of the ordinary infact its pretty mandatory to get a payrise at the beginning or end of a season. But there’s a lot of Evi hate because of her character and the fact that people think that their are more talented actors/actress that deserve more money than she does.

Its really sad, Lost fan's should unite and be happy that the actor's of this great show are finally getting the same amount of money as other shows instead of dissing certain actor's because you don’t like their personalities/ the way they look or the characters they play.

absolutely. this is far beyond ridiculous. man, maybe Evi doesn't even care about the money or going around the set telling to the rest of the cast she gets more money.

Chances are, Evi and Matthew didn't even ask for the raise. It was most likely their agents that did it. That's usually what happens in Hollywood, that's why they hire agents in the first place. Also, from the articles I've read, it sounds more like ABC went to Evi and Matthew's agents and not the other way around... so if that's the case, then all this hate towards the two is completely out of line.
