Yaay! I'm going to New York for 4-5 days next week. I'm so happy because it was one of my dreams . Have you ever been to there? (apart from people from there lol). I'm going to the city from friday to next wednesday (which is my birthday, don't miss it! hehe). I'll miss you those days!

Aww thats soo great i went for 2 days last August when i was visiting family in the US. i am glad that your going for longer than i did because i found out that 2 days isn't enough to see the attractions in NY AND hit the shops

Your going to have a great time, its a lovely city just remember to plan where you are going / what you want to see before hand so you don't miss out on anything.

go to the theater every night, if you can. and the museums the MET, science, in the MOMA there's a collection of super heroes and their costumes are designed by famous designers, it's pretty awesome.

I went to NYC a couple of years ago and I loved the city. What I preferred is Greenwitch Village : washington square, the 'mini' arch, NY Univ, and all the beautiful trees with pink flowers during spring and summer...ppl playing chest lol
Central Park of course is great too..
What I like is that NY is very eclectic, as far as i'm concerned, the city was like a patchwork, you can have a gothic church near a very modern building... that's fun!
So marta, have great fun in New york, enjoy every single moment and come back to us with your mind full of great memories!!

Ohhh!!! I sooo envy you. I just returnd from a six week intensive acting course in NYC!!!! I had been there before, but this time it was different I soooo fell in love with the city. i really want to go back forever! I've just come back today! It was great! But I'm a little tired now lol. The city is beautiful and I enjoyed "The Phantom of the Opera" too, although it was really hard to understand what the characters sang/said for me
I visited almost all the important turistic places. I hope you all have had very good days.

It's not anything about NYC but I thought it wasn't necessary to start a new topic. I'll leave tomorrow to start my August vacation on the beach so... see you in 4 weeks. I'll miss you, as usual!
