We have some kind of potato week at school :P Almost everything we ate was potato today... Im sick of potatoes already :P And 4 days left :shock: :lol:

todays schools lunch:

"mjölkstuvade makaroner" with "falukorv" , i dont know how to say it in english but it is macaroni boiled in milk with a swedish sousage called Falukorv.
it was quite nice :D

Aaah i love "mjölkstuvade makaroner" =D never tasted that falukorv but i have heard about it =)

This Falukorv has a quite interesting story.
It started in a smal town called Falun during the 1700 where they had a coppermine. This coppermine had very deep tunnels, and so to pull the carts filled with copper from the bottom of the mine they used thick ropes made of hides from oxes. And the deeper the tunnels got, the more rope they needed,so they had to kill an enormous amount of oxes.
This lead to a surplus of oxmeat. So they came up with the idea of making sausages.

Dont ask me why i botherd to write this because i dont know :D
