everybody is dead in the end. some were waiting for Jack to get to the point to accept his dead so they can move on too. like everybody dies...

of course something we never see Kate got Claire off the island to be with Aaron but...I guess that reunion wasn't mean that much to the writers.
although I loved to see all those characters/actors together again...
Evi and Dom was super nice, man I'm sad they broke up.

I actually ended up watching the finale and I was happy with it.

Since Kate loves Jack I'm glad she ended up with Jack in the afterlife.

But I do think that even if Kate and Jack are meant to be, Skate was handled terribly in the finale.


Anyway the one thing I'm confused about is what happened to the island reality? It's weird to think that Kate/Claire/Sawyer miles ect. continued to live out their lives. I guess that's what Kate wanted though to raise Aaron with Claire. I guess that's not what's important. What's important is that they all met up again in the afterlife.

So now that they ascend/move on, do they continue to to live another sort of afterlife together on some other plane or do they just fade away?

Because now that everyone has met up, I don't want them just fade away.

yeah it wasn't important for Kate to see Claire and Aaron reunited. Kate needed to remember the island via Claire giving birth to Aaron so she could help Jack remember the island was well. after all this it was all about Jack in the end.

another thing was David....where did he come from??? Jack and Juliet imagined him? Jack created him due to his father issues? Juliet wanted a kid with Jack?? weird.

they were ready to move on when Jack was ready, they all leave to heaven/afterlife in that moment. Boone was like waiting for years to really move on. and Sayid never loved Nadia it seems.

That's not what I meant. I meant that the Kate/Claire/Aaron thing got resolved in their life even though we never saw it. So they did not need to show some sort resolution to that storyline in the afterlife. They just had establish that Kate and Aaron will always have a connection.

It would have been great to see a K/C/A reunion but I understand why they didn't show it because an off island scene in the actually reality would have been out of place with the story they were telling. We also didn't see Desmond reunite with his family but we know it happened.

I think Sayid loved Nadia, and will always love her, but they were never meant to be. He really belongs with Shannon.

that's what I meant too it wasn't important to show it and probably irrelevant since the FS were the afterlife of these characters. of course it was resolved, we need to assume it happened, implied story sort of thing.

Sayid and Nadia are sort of Kate and Sawyer, an undeniable connection with a great build up but what really meant was the afterlife.

Second day I can not stop crying. I love Lost. Not imagine what will be without him. I will see Evangeline Lilyl less. I ... I just have no words to describe my pain ;(;(;(;(;(

Oh, good god! That finale killed me! I am still crying... :'( I was devastated with the Jate and Suliet endings- I think this is how it was meant to be, but honestly I expected some SKate scenes even as a friendly relationship.... Anyway, the finale was sad but at the same tine releasing and I'm so glad for the redemption of our LOSTies! But as Segarr said:

Everyone that died in the 6 seasons, actually died. Jack died at the very end of the episode. Kate/Miles/Richard/Lapidus/Claire/Sawyer all went on to live the rest of their lives. Probably dieing of old age.

So I can still dream of happy SKate moments after the landing, right?

Yup! I think it's reasonable to assume that they all remained friends. Hell, they may have even remained in contact with Hurley.

We know that Cassidey and Kate were friends, Sawyer probably went to be with Clementime....they probably had a bunch of Clementime/Aaron parties with Kate, Sawyer, Claire all there....
