Lilly 'not rooting' for 'Lost' triangle

Evangeline Lilly has admitted that she was not keen on her character's love triangle plot in Lost.

Since the show's first season, Lilly's alter-ego Kate has been involved in romances with both Matthew Fox's Jack and Josh Holloway's Sawyer.

However, when asked by SFX who she is rooting for Kate to end up with, Lilly claimed that she hopes her character ends up on her own.

"I am not rooting for either one," she said. "Kate used to be driven by the two men in her life; Jack and Sawyer.

"I didn't want to see Kate coming back to the island and falling in love with Sawyer again after three years of a relationship with Jack, but they didn't do that."

She continued: "I had always hoped the writers would find a purpose for her outside of them - and they have. Motherhood has changed Kate completely and will define her actions for the rest of the show."

The sixth and final season of Lost premieres Tuesday, February 2 on ABC.

i don't agree with her, though.
i think that after 6 years of the show being a ping pong ball like the writers called her once, she NEEDS to end up with one of them otherwise i'll be extremely pissed.

i'm glad she's finally said it I don't want Kate to rely on any man. Plus Evi and Josh told Kristen that the triangle with be "downplayed" in S6 to make room for more important story lines.

she is obviously TIRED of the triangle.

so yeah the triangle will be downplayed in season 6, so the few romantic scene will be major significant

Oh ok, i have never seen this article before so i thought it was new . But even if its a year old her opinions on the 'triangle' probably haven't changed.
