Location Updates
According to Jason Doutree who works in the production office filming will take place in White Sands, New Mexico and and El Paso, Texas this week (week starting Mon 25th June).
FYI- Its a 1 hr 15 min drive to get from White Sands to El Paso (info from google maps) so they are not far from each other.
He also writes on his blog that he met Evi in the production office on June 18th. The blog entry says-
"Just met Evangeline Lilly here at the production office. She is a really nice lady. Now I am getting ready to go home for the night". 05:37 PM June 18.

Filming in Alamogordo took place this week at White Sands National Monument. A French production company, bringing more than 70 crew members, was welcomed by officials from Otero County, the Alamogordo Chamber of Commerce and the organizers of the 2008 White Sands International Film Festival according to a news release announcing the filming.
Shot over four days at White Sands National Monument, this film was supported through the efforts of the chamber of commerce and key members of the White Sands International Film Festival.
The news release noted both organizations are seeking to raise the profile of southern New Mexico as a prime location for the production of feature films.
Ed Carr, executive director of the chamber, offered assistance through the support of film liaison Jan Waffle, with extra support provided during the final days of shooting from David Gibbons, executive festival producer of the reshaped International Film Festival, and festival colleagues, the news release stated.
"The shooting of the movie 'Afterwards' this week at White Sands National Monument demonstrates again the attractiveness of Alamogordo and our area to film makers," Carr said in an official statement. "The cast and crew of around 100 provided a nice shot in the arm to many local businesses.
"With the movie 'Transformers' coming out next week, the movie 'Afterwards' hitting the screens in the near future and the upcoming White Sands International Film Festival, Alamogordo will be getting a lot more attention from the film industry."
Gibbons met Russell Smith, the film's U.S. producer, two days before final wrap. Smith said he appreciated the support provided by all the parties from Alamogordo.
"Film productions of this magnitude can have a positive affect not only upon the city of Alamogordo but also the whole of southern New Mexico," Gibbons said in the news release. "It is to the benefit of all those living in this region that these productions can have a positive affect in terms of economic as well as marketing impact."
Gibbons commended what he called the "very special relationship" built between the Alamogordo Chamber of Commerce and White Sands International Film Festival, based upon the collaboration in supporting the objectives of bringing film production to southern New Mexico.
The international film festival is seeking the cooperation of production companies, such as the one behind this film, to return for screenings during the March 2008 event. It also hopes that key actors, directors and producers will also return to discuss the various processes and methodologies of today's filmmaking business during the festival's seminars for filmmakers. The film is scheduled for release in 2008.
The film is directed by Gilles Bourdos and stars Evangeline Lilly, John Malkovich and Romain Duris.
