Kate wearing Charlie's hoodie in season 3 finale of Lost?

The TV season is over, but the Extras - my name for the in-jokes caught by Daily News readers while watching their favorite shows - keep on coming.

Toby O'Brien of Manhattan, a veteran Extra detective, found one [an in-joke] in the final episode of the season of ABC's "Lost."

"During the nighttime exodus to the radio tower ... Kate Austin was wearing the gray hooded windbreaker that belonged to Charlie," O'Brien writes.

"I think from a behind-the-scenes vantage point, it made for a nice tip of the hat to the [reputed] boyfriend of Evangeline Lilly, who plays Kate. She's been romantically linked with Dominic Monaghan, who played Charlie Pace up until the last 15 minutes of the finale [when he appeared to drown].

"With her wearing the jacket/sweatshirt," O'Brien continues, "it was like she was paying tribute to both actor and character for the contributions they made over the last three seasons."

I dont think the one in the scene is his... the one she was wearing was more of a brown than grey and Charlies had something on the front he wore it in the first season all over the place... it was more blackish i think... Im not sure though but i think it isnt.... (maybe behind the scenes though?) Oh and while im thinking about it the one she has on has a zipper all of Chrlies hoodies were sweatshirts. Sweatshirts dont have hoodies trust me on this i wear them everywhere.... I wore them in 98 degree weather.... Northern people have a thing for hoodies.

I agree with people that it's not the same color, Charlie's was more black and Kate's was definitely grey. But it was similar I think and has Kate ever worn a sweatshirt like that?? it's probubly just a coincidence but I still think it's kinda cool though that she had to wear a similar one on the same episode that her boyfriend's character died though

I agree with Jenna, the first thing I thought when I saw the sweatshirt was "Hey, that is the sweatshirt she wore behind the scenes during S2!".

I don't think it is Charlie's hoodie at all, but ofcourse it could be Dom's.
And yeah, maybe Evi wore a hoodie because of Dom's character dying but I'm pretty sure it isn't the exact hoodie Charlie wore.

When Charlie died was reaaally sad! I think that if it's true that is the same one or similar, that's a beautiful sign of a really good friendship!

Yes perhaps but I think its the same one she wore on the season 2 set

The hoodie may have faded over the last three years out in the heat, rain, wind etc.
