I made the mistake of posting my msn addy on the msn thread not just here, but on many forums on the web being carefull who I keep to my list and everything. Never posting a picture of myself when someone I didn't feel I knew was online ect.

I've done this for the last probaly year and half and I did have a minor incident with a creep... a real dirty perverted man that totally freaked me out. I got over though and have been very carefull.

Though I did run into another guy a few days ago who started saying some suggestive things.

I just want everyone to be safe and know that when you put your email out their its at your own risk. Delete anyone suspicious and that you dont reconise from the forum... ask questions like "Where do I know you from?" or "How did you get my addy?" If they say it just maraculously appeared on their friend list, their lying. Delete them. Espeically us girls because their are some nasty people out their so please, please keep safe because you all mean a lot to me and I want you to be safe.

I still like to talk to you guys so if you want someones addy just pm them... its much safer.

Thanks for your time guys and if anyone else is having any problems speak up and if you want your msn deleted from the "msn?" thread just edit it or pm me and i can dlete it for you.

Elise is very right, this is a very important topic. Any crap should be reported immediately. You all know how messed up the web can be, and sometimes we forget that this is not a private website, the threads on this site are available to everyone with internet. So please, be careful and remember before you post stuff, never post out of a comfort zone and never ever post adresses or phone numbers or anything sensitive like that. We all gotta have fun but remember to watch our backs.
Thanks Elise for this thread, it's common sense but should be stated because it's easy to forget. Please contact either Ice, Bell, Janine or myself with any conserns or questions.

Yes absoloutly no phone numbers or adresses. I've already deleted someones phone number from the forum. It is very, VERY dangerous. In a matter of minutes someone could use your phone number to know where you live and who yuo live with, your full name, even your job. I even considered deleting the msn thread, but I noticed some people removed theirs and this is easy to do just click the "edit" button and to take it out of your profile just click the profile link on the top of the main banner.

I strongly suggest you create an email adress to use just for the forum. This way people can't get into your personal email account.

Yes and I if you are having problems please pm one of the mods. You can do it privatly and no one will know. bottem line is if you ever feel unsafe or insecure like I was feeling... tell somebody.

Great advice guys.

I actually had somebody contact me from this forum, PM me, add me onto his MSN, and also sent me some really weird emails. I have blocked him now, but everybody else should definately be careful, and use your own instinct as to what you want to post onto the internet,

Sounds like the guy I had. Only he started saying really creppy personal kind of stuff.

..yeah, sounds like the guy I had, he was really creepy and kept wanting to be my friend and stuff...jk.. but seriously, yeah, that is really creepy you guys and is not somthing to take lightly, thank god you are both smart and capable people, from what I have read at least. Bel, was that that one creepy spanish "boy" who was 21 and said it was his destiny to be with evangline and stuff and left his email in case we wanted to contact the destiny boy?cause that was weird. and there was that guy that wanted to talk about sex I think... that was weird as hell too.. both cases nobody posted anything which was good and showed we all got good heads on our shoulders.

No... It was a man from India who wanted to pay for me to come and visit him. Because he had a job and a car and apparently that is supposed to impress me.

Anyway, it's all some creepy scam or something.

I've blocked him, so it's all good now.
