Lost and the shipper war

Hey guys,

I know it's a dry spell with Lost still on the hiatus of doom and basically no Evi news to report. Real life has been busy and eventful for me, so I haven't really had the chance to make updates here.

I've been made aware of the shipper war between Jaters and Skaters on the forum and frankly I'm a bit disappointed, I thought the Lost community was over this inane battle of whom Kate should end up with. It's not in our hands and we can't influence the writers, so just let it go and enjoy the ride.
And don't criticize someone for being a Jater or Skater. Seriously guys, this is a site about Evangeline and not a site for Kate/Jack or Kate/Sawyer, so respect Evangeline's work as Kate and trust the writers even if the ship you desire doesn't end up to be the ultimate one. This show is about so much more than that.

I will be closing the entire Lost discussion in the forum. It's sad because there should have been discussion about Kate but this is getting out of hand and often way off-topic and quite frankly, the people wanting to discuss Kate's relationships can find a shipper forum or check out the individual threads on the wonderful Lost-Forum.com where all the non-Kate discussion should be taken too.

Let's focus on Evangeline and leave the rest to more appropiate forums.
Sorry for such drastic measures but it will be better this way. I would appreciate if discussion in the forum could go back to being civil and hope members in the forum can understand my decision.

So, as you can tell, the complete LOST section has been removed from this forum. I didn't even plan on adding this section to the forum when starting it because I feared a shipper war would ensue sooner or later and now I'm sad to see that my fears became the truth. Seriously, I don't care what your desired ship is, I care that you are an Evangeline fan and this is what this place is here for - to show our appreciation to this wonderful actress, so please be respectful of others and keep this a friendly environment.
